DESCRIPTION
AimChart is a free Web-based tool enabling students, parents, teachers, and administrators to track student progress. It employs a rapid and user-friendly way to assess student performance each day and collect, store, display, analyze, and share this data to enrich student learning. Using AimChart, students and parents can identify areas of mastery and weakness as they examine academic performance. Teachers can detect differences in student learning, the speed at which learning occurs, methods and techniques that optimize learning, test curricula, and instruction techniques; as a result, they can improve instructional practices and be more effective and efficient. AimChart offers principals and administrators a means of comparing student data with learning standards and school goals, as well as a data-driven resource to evaluate, improve, and implement classroom decisions regarding curricula, instruction, time allocation, and a multitude of student variables.
