DESCRIPTION
The free Alternative Certification Evaluation Template is geared at enabling pioneers of certification programs an opportunity to implement evaluations examining the extent to new programs address key alternative certification issues. Based on an exhaustive literature review, the template comprises four components (screening and standards, training, supervision and support, and certification) that have been identified as important contributors to positive alternative certification outcomes. It also incorporates a scoring rubric that allows alternative certification programs to shape and measure their progress. Although the template does not save any data entered, it provides a clear-cut graph of the results.
