Technology Challenges During Teachers' Induction Years is a free, online publication that addresses challenges faced by new teachers in technology preparedness. It provides self-assessment tools to determine the technology preparedness of teachers and schools. Additionally, it provides ideas and suggestions to meet challenges of situations where both teacher and school are technologically adept, situations where the teacher is technologically prepared but the school is not prepared, cases where the school is technologically prepared but the teacher is unprepared, and conditions where both school and teacher are technologically unprepared. Finally, it lists resources that teachers can use to alleviate technology concerns early in their career.
