HannaAlda Hanna, teacher at Steele Elementary School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, talks about how being connected to the Internet has changed the way she teaches. Excerpted from Learning With Technology: Merging Onto the Information Highway, produced by NCREL in 1994.
"I've been teaching school for thirty years. The internet, being connected to the internet, has changed me so drastically, I'm just not the same person. I now know that I don't have to know all the answers, I have access. If I have a question, I don't have to worry about doing the research tonight. I can just go to the computer, internet, ask the scientist, ask the college professor on the internet and get the answer immediately."
