Luis Garcia Discusses the Internet

Luis Garcia, student at Kelly High School in Chicago, Illinois, talks about how using the Internet enabled him to obtain a summer internship at AT&T in Lisle, Illinois. Excerpted from Learning With Technology: Merging Onto the Information Highway, produced by NCREL in 1994.

"Through using the internet, I will be able to meet new people, get to know new people, and that enabled me for a job here, an internship over the summer, working with the PowerPoint in which I was making presentation slides they would be using for presentations, for example, Chile, any places around the world."
