Integrating Environmental Education and ScienceIntegrating Environmental Education and Science is a statewide, collaborative initiative in Ohio that uses environmental education as a way to encourage reform in science education. It has a resource book, Integrating Environmental Education and Science: Using and Developing Learning Episodes (Cantrell & Barron, 1996), which presents examples of learning episodes from environmental education, strategies to link current reform components to the science curriculum, and connections to the ninth-grade proficiency test.
