Systems
Constantine, Aronson, and Wilber (1994) list the following standards
under Automated Systems:
- Standard 4.22 - "In developing a computerized data system
and using it effectively, agencies should:
- Clearly determine the purpose of the computerized system.
- Obtain the cooperation of all participating agencies.
- Develop thorough security procedures.
- Provide notice to children and families." (p. 117)
- Standard 4.23 - "Agencies should develop several levels
of security to properly safeguard automated data systems." (p. 118)
