School Discipline Code

Pathways Home

To be most effective, a school discipline code must respond to the specific issues and needs of the local school. All stakeholders should be involved in the development of the code.

The Cather School/Grant School Code is an example of an effective discipline code. Cather School and Grant School, public schools in Chicago, developed this code within the framework of a districtwide discipline code.
