Subject Objective: To describe the function of the respiratiory system.
Prevention Objective: To illustrate the effects of tobacco on the lungs and associated organs. (Also marijuana)
Assessment Criteria: pretest/posttest; observation of how dissection groups work together.

| Development: Briefly discuss (using transparencies) the function of the respiratory system. Ask questions about what tobacco does to the various parts to assess student knowledge. Discussion. Do the lung dissection in groups of four. |

Have each group discuss their dissection with you. Test on factual info and compare results to pre-test.
