• A Plan for Site-Based Management Through Shared Decision-Making
  Rochester (MN) Public Schools developed this plan to support the imlementation of site-based management at all school sites in the district.
• North Carolina Network for School-Based Management
  Through grant funding provided from the Office of School Reform, the North Carolina Network, a collaborative of school districts, a university partner, and Southeastern Region Vision for Education (SERVE), developed a model for school-based management.
• School-Based Decision Making
  The Kentucky Department of Education designed this site to meet the information needs of parents, teachers, principals, and others about school-based decision making.

  This issue of CPRE Finance Briefs summarizes research that investigated how school-based management can be implemented so that it is more than just a catch-phrase.
• Harsh Realities About Decentralized Decision Making
  This site discusses three of the most pressing realities facing leaders committed to implementing decentralized decision-making.
• Shared decision-making (or school-based management) has become a centerpiece of efforts across the nation to improve America's schools. This policy brief from the Delaware Education Research and Development Center considers three questions in light of current research and practice of site-based management.
• Strategies for School-Based Management (requires Adobe Acrobat software)
  The "Wave Series" of the Florida Department of Education is a set of user-friendly information flyers on hot topics that are being addressed by school improvement teams and the school community. The research has been condensed to assist in the search for ideas and strategies to support educational goals and objectives.
