Report Results at a Level of Understanding Appropriate for the Group or Individual Receiving the Report
Keep in mind that people have different levels of prior knowledge concerning the assessment process. For example, younger students may have had little or no experience with assessment. High school students, however, will have a greater understanding. Parents, educators, and community members will have diverse understandings of assessment. Because of these varying levels of understanding, reports need to be clear and specific so they do not overwhelm or mislead anyone.
